Product development shall be performed through well defined Product Development Projects:

major enhancements across the life cycle of the product.
The scope of such Product Development Projects shall be signed-off between Product Management (Product Technical Manager)
and Product Development Project Team (Project Manager). It can be in the form of Statement of Work (SoW) or any other
similar document with clear details of

Acceptance of deliverables
A detailed Development Project Requirements Document shall be prepared by Product Development Project Team and signed-off
with Product Management (Product Technical Manager).

The scope and requirements shall be derived based on Product Requirements Document (PRD) and Release Plan.

The requirements include functional, non-functional and associated documentation.

For each of the Requirements mentioned in the Development Project Requirements Document, there shall be
traceability to PRD.

IP solution/product shall not contain any customer specific features/functionalities.

Any such Customer specific requirements shall be taken care only through Custom projects signed up with the
Customer (which is outside the scope of this process).
During the development/implementation phase the following shall be closely tracked/ monitored on regular basis:

Investments / Efforts consumed

Schedule compliance

Risk management
-
Risks identified
-
Mitigations planned or actions taken

Contingency plan or actions taken.

Status updates on Testing/Validation
